January has kept Leona ,grandchildren and I busy watching new life come alive. Remember the egg I showed a few weeks back.
Also Leona was surprised with some ducks, and she is so enjoy watching them waddle around, they didn’t stay inside very long as a wet duck is a HAPPY duck.
And to think we would sit under the little cedar tree in chairs drinking coffee in Nov….now the water is about three feet deep.
There will be some clean up of plastic bottles that have come a shore..as you can see.
How ever the little flower bulbs I planted are thriving with the wet.
Congratulations on your new babies. =) The blanket looks wonderful for THAT new baby, too. The flooding river – oh wow, that’s a big difference! I hope it hasn’t been too hard on the wildlife.
Thank you! I don’t think it was too hard on the wildlife in our area. The spring peepers are very happy,as I’m sure are the toads ..I’m hoping for lots of them any way for I have a feeling the skeeter problem is going to be a problem!
You did an amazing job with your photography of everything! Those baby chicks are so priceless and the process hatching – I thought we had a lot of rain WOW. Love the baby blanket – gray is definitely the color this season too! Nice pattern 🙂 oh and that tiny beautiful flower – spring is springing to life!
Thank you!🥰 daughter-in-law wanted something that would go with either sex,and not to frilly in case of a boy. I think she’ll like it. Spring is such a special time with greenery so fresh.
It was so exciting for all of us around here, even I saw a side of chickens I’ve never seen before, and I been raised around chickens as far back as I can remember!
What enriching life experiences you give your family, Deb!

We will I believe ,as we are back off from the water a little way. The hatchling was great fun,and could be addictive.

Very interesting. I love to see those nature photos, because they differ very much from those we have.
Happy new week!

Thank you! The Internet was definitely been a help in seeing the way people live all over the world, not in just a tourist way.
