🌺 A family stitched together with love seldom unravels.🌾
It’s update time! And I did get to take time with my needle and thimble, felt wonderful!
I didnt get much done on this top except for finishing the row and turning it.

Hubby and boys went to Alabama to a stone quarry to get certified to be a advanced open water diver. I went along just for a little time by myself.
I love taking care of Leona ,but it is nice to get a little break.
I got just four full blocks ,and four half blocks until I’m finished. Here’s some photos.

That’s it’s for me this around.

I really like that quilt. It is nice to get away once in awhile. I finally finished my T-shirt quilts for my girls. My youngest graduated in 2014, so it took me a long time to finish them. I did do some other quilts in between. The T-shirts were difficult to work with.

T shirt are so stretchy that makes them difficult. You got them done that’s the important thing!!

*I* think that’s a lot of hand quilting in three weeks! You are also living a life. How fun that they could get qualified in a stone quarry. I hope the water wasn’t too cold!

True, and it feels good to be refreshed in taking care of her! They said it wasnt too bad.. but they were mighty glad for a warm towel.😄 at 105 feet the water had to be cold!

Wonderful quilting and nice and relaxing to be able to just sit outside and stitch.

Looks great, as usual! You say you didn’t get much done, but every little bit moves things forward.

I was impressed when I first read about getting a row and a turn in and then to see your other beautiful quilt – wow – that’s quite a bit of hand quilting done. The fan design for the pattern is lovely with this and that pop of blue is a hit! I am so glad you got a way and were refreshed. (I did respite care for United Cerebral Palsy Org. and your get away made me smile reading you took care of yourself) Have a great week 🙂
