Life here on the farm is in full swing..weed pulling , mulching, weed whacking, and mowing. Need to butcher some drakes yet,as I have too many ,they will hurt my little hen ducks if I don’t get at it soon. …. having said all that … just to tell you that I didn’t get much done on my old quilt. 😃 The poor old dear has sat in the corner for two weeks without even been picked up once.
Here’s where I was last round …

Here’s a peek at the big flowerbed almost finished..

Oh, that floral walkway is so pretty! I’m definitely envious, and it gives me an idea for my own backyard. =) One of my sons loves gardening, and I bet I could get him to make a little windy path to the woods behind here, after the decks are finished, and the mess is cleaned up. I’ll have to look for a cute little shed for the end of the path – a place he can keep his junk! The quilt will wait for you, as life insists on other things being done, and at least you did a little at the start of the three weeks, so you aren’t at zero, like I am. LOL

I love that the tradition of a quilting bee can be carried on with friends (maybe strangers) from far away.

Beautiful flower walkway! I was not born with the green thumb and never had time to garden. It probably felt good to be outside! I kept one of my quilts that I was hand quilting on in the corner for way to long. Now took a break and trying to figure out how to do the borders – They do wait patiently for us! Have a great day! Quilts are truly patient… they are even pretty about it. 🙂 I love growing things ..just hate canning Or preserving the produce.😳but if I want good food on the table that means I do it any way.😀but if I do get lazy.. which does happen .. the chickens and ducks don’t mind helping me out,Then we just eat it in egg form.

So much to do right now! The flowers are going to be specTacular if you get the rain you need. Some weeks it is just difficult to get the hand quilting in!

So true! The flowerbed and garden both have had to be watered as the rains have been slim and looks like it will be yet for a few weeks. The bok choy has done great, and has been greatly enjoyed.

Look at that lovely flowerbed! I’m green with envy. I love it!
And envious over your quilting skills too – even when you’re so busy on other things that the quilting time slows down.
