The only post I have been able to keep up with lately… is this update . My online time often takes back seat, but no guilt felt for life is too good to be caught up in a computer world.๐
Hand quilting has also taken a back seat, however I did get a little done with which Iโm happy with.
Hereโs where I was last time around..

I did get a pile of blocks done for some scrappy quilts… the scrap pile though is still a pile. These come from the sewing circle that make charity quilts or quilt kits ( the quilt kits are for widows or single moms needing to support themselves. They put these quilt together to sale . It seems to be a big help to they.) The quilt kits allow only blocks that are 4โ or larger,so that means lots of scraps to be used up.

This Hand Quilt Along is an opportunity for hand quilters and piercers to share and motivate one another. We pot every three weeks, to show our progress and encourage one another. If you have a hand quilting project and would like to join our group contact Kathy at the link below.

That is a lot of scraps. It is always nice to make some progress. I am very slow at getting a quilt done, so it seems normal to me. It is good to be busy with many things.

Slow is getting normal for me too!๐ I have a phobia over wasting fabric,or things..that I fear is from a grandmother who was always ..waste not ,want not.

I also do that. I save all the scraps from quilts I have made hoping to make something out of them.

The charity quilt programme sounds good, my scrap pile never seems to get any smaller either! On the quilting front, progress is progress, every little helps ๐

I’m always amazed how you can take scraps and visualize how to create a beautiful quilt. You have a wonderful sense of design.
