Half way through January, and it’s a windy, chilly day here in Ga.
This kind of weather makes quilting a real delight, curling up with the quilt your quilting on is sooo toasty warm.🙂
Sorry I didn’t get a post up and running last update. I was too weary after all the Christmas crew . I totally enjoyed all the grands and the children home, however we are adding up to be quite a crew with 22 mouths to feed for several days.
Update time! Last round I was here…

Now I’m here…

A closer look.

I need to add a Camilla to this post, my bushes are blooming their hearts out.

Then there were some that were in a bouquet ,and just about done gone. They still dressed up an old planter.

This Hand Quilt Along is an opportunity for hand quilters and piecers to share and motivate one another. We post every three weeks, to show our progress and encourage one another. If you have a hand quilting project and would like to join our group contact Kathy at the link below.
Oh my goodness – look at how much progress you’ve made! Your stitching is so beautiful! I’m green with envy! This is GORGEOUS!!

The Camilla is beautiful – I have a few bushes and have never had such gorgeous blooms. You sure have made some great progress Deb on the quilt. Like you said, these cold wintery months making quilting our quilts a delight 🙂

Camilla’s love the south.. I think it’s because our soil runs on the acidic side, and the weather is milder. Hoping though that it stay a little chiller for I do want to get more done before gardening time again.

I think I have to much rain and the blooms tend to brown and just turn to mush. I have no protected area to grow them…but I love them so much

Yes, a lot of rain and damp weather doesn’t make a nice bloom.

Wow, 22 mouths to feed for 7 days! After even one day, even with everyone pitching in, I would need a lo-o-ong winter’s nap!

Thank you!! The south is a great place to be in winter… not so much in summer though when temps hit 100* or more.
