It’s that time again… and three more weeks just went poof.
I decided to do something a little different for I’m too lazy to undo the hoop and lay it out to see the grid work being done.😁 I will show you a little of the grid work that’s done after a bit though.
I need extra light when working in the evenings on this quilt for our family room table lamps aren’t super bright. I tried those head lights that has a head band … didn’t like them.. they messed up my hair!😤 and I had to hold my head a certain way that put a kink in my neck. So then I tried the neck reading lamp… well that wasn’t much better for it was hard to focus the light right where I wanted it.( it would often be more of a nonsense for hubby shining on him instead.🤷🏻♀️)
So I had this 💡 moment… it’s works out great.

Now the grid work…

Now on the see what everyone else is doing.

That is a very creative fix. It is sometimes hard to get good light.

Thank you! It is .. and I hated when I had to rip out quilting from the night before because I couldn’t see it right!

I hate to have to do that. I am making a quilt of triangles and I had to take several apart. 😦

You had me laughing and shaking my head. I have had all of those light/lamp problems. I now have a this adjustable goose neck lamp that I set on the couch next to me and direct the light to where I need it. Usually when I first turn it on it blinds my husband and ruins his tv viewing. lol So glad you too figured out a solution. Ingenious!

Lol! Hubby rather likes my solution too, and I’m not hearing this “ hon, can you move your light it’s bothering me again”😀

Light issues can really put a damper on handwork; I love your solution! Those stitches are just beautiful!

Hi Deb. Lighting makes such a difference. My eyes get really tired and sometimes when threading a needle I use extra light and end up putting a 2nd pair of glasses over the first! My guy bought this decorator floor lamp for the livingroom that is crazy bright. It hurts my eyes when I walk in the room. I have found though that it is a great light if it shines down on my project. I just have to sit in front of it because it hurts my eyes because it is blindingly bright.
I did post but after starting a draft it listed a few days early when I published it on the 27th. Here is the link.
