March 20…Hand quilt along update…

Spring has arrived here, but before it did winter had to give us a freeze like we haven’t had all winter! I lost a lot of young plants in my raised bed because of the freeze with wind. Oh well… I’ll just move on to summer things. No sense in crying over spilled milk right!😀

One of the last Camilla flowers hanging on.

Time now for update! I wasn’t as lazy this round, and took a picture of the quilt. I don’t know exactly how much I have done in the last three weeks but it does show how much was done in six … the grid work a good half way around center piece.

The circle is where my hoop was ,(and back on again) the another blue area is what needs to be finished then it’s border time. I’m hoping that I can have most of the blue area done by the next update .. if I get stressed over this moving business it just might happen as quilting is my stress reliever. I will do a post on the move.

Happy stitching ,my friends until next update!

  1. So glad that Camilla hung on, its beautiful 🙂 I’m dreading a freeze, we’ve had snow in April but holding on to hope. You’re so close to that border now. You’ve got this!

    1. It’s the south’s most prefect flower … bugs don’t bother it,the only thing that messes the perfection up is a freeze after they open up. I’m going to try to finish the inside of the quilt . Thinking of being that close to the border gives the extra push to quilt.

    1. It is a pretty Camilla, and it just blooms and blooms all winter long. That little light give me longer time in the evening which really helps, amazing what an half an hour does most evenings.
