Welcome back ,Connie!!!🙂
These last three weeks have been … well I can’t say exactly busy .. at least in the quilt department.🫣
Leona caught some germs from our travels to see family , so I’ve been doctoring her .
Being on call for 24 hrs and sleepless nights call for a very sluggish me.
So that meant no going to the storage room to find my next project for to post.
I did the easiest thing while sitting beside Leona during her worst days . Crocheting, it is very relaxing to sit there with hook and yarn…. Even if I had to undo six rows due to dozing .
Here’s what I managed to finish…

The little sea foam green one is for charity and a baby size.
Hoping to get a project going before next update!

Well, I would say you are pretty amazing — making something lovely while falling asleep over a sick child. I hope Leona is feeling better.

She is definitely starting to feel better. We are back to sleeping a good nights sleep. That feels so good … makes one appreciate what a blessing it is to sleep good.

Glad Leona is on the mend and you are all sleeping again, I know how rough it can be, an you guys are in close quarters. The crocheted blankets are just lovely, Deb. Busy hands always help my patience, bet it’s the same for you.😉

I never worked with wool before,as here in the south one doesn’t usually need a real warm blanket. It was very easy to work with,I’ll think I’ll do another one. Thank you for the kind words.🥰🤗

I am sorry Leona got sick. It is hard on the Caretaker also. Love the crochet items. Take care, get rested, and then get to quilting! LOL. Hugs

So glad that Leona is recovering, and that you both can get some good sleep…the best thing! I would claim that blanket for sure! Lovely projects! I don’t know how to crochet, or knit for that matter, but I certainly appreciate the time and effort that goes into it! 🙂

Just having someone appreciate a project is important too! That blanket came in handy for all the cool weather we’ve been having.
