Summer heat has hit us with sizzling temps, all this week we will see 95 to 102, perfect time to catch up on my quilting!
We are moved,so I’m looking forward to some crafting time.👏😀
I do a post on that tomorrow.
Now the update…. I was able to do a little quilting but not as much as I thought. I had two teeth pulled last week and I thought that I would be quilting during recovery…well that didn’t happen as soon as I got home from the dentist ,I reclined in the chair and promptly fell asleep.🫣😊
I think it was the pain killer ,for the next day I backed off of them, and felt much better.

I finished this hoop and did another hoop size just like this one.
I have a new project that my Auntie (on hubbys side) ask me to do as she can’t do it due to losing her eye sight.
There are 20 blocks that will finish out to 15 1/2 inches. I was going to inset the cream pieces to finish the blocks but the blocks are a bit wonky.
I’m going to leave them that way ,so that means appliqué is how it needs to be done. I not very good with appliqué so this is a bit of stretch for me. I did get a half of a block done to see if I could stick it out. I think I can ,but I will need y’all to keep me going.😀

Some of the old scrappy blocks hand sewn by great aunt of hubby’s given to Auntie. I would say these are 1940’s fabrics in very good condition.

That is it for me this round. Happy quilting ,friends!
