I didnāt get much done on the quilt this round again, and no, it has nothing to do with a burned thumb. That has healed nicely,itās just that thereās lots of summer work . Iām enjoying the outdoors work as the days have been really nice.
Hereās where I was last round….

That colorful adorable butterfly greeted me on opening your post and made me smile! Good for you getting out into the gorgeous weather. I have found myself doing the same more and more, but we’re still having lots of rain and indoor days too. Enjoy the coming week, stay well and see you at the next check in š

I know what you mean about wanting to be outdoors. I hope we have hD our last frost now ! DH spent most of the afternoon in the garden with Max, and I joined them for a bit of dandelion digging myself. The sun felt wonderful after all the rain and sleet this past week.
I do love those flower motifs you are using, they seem perfect for this quilt. Leona’s butterfly is wonderful, I hope you share more of her artwork!

I can imagine the ducks are enjoying the warmer sun…. and the sleet part is hard for me to wrap around my brain when we are having 85* to 93* temps.Thank you, and Iām sure I will share a few more pieces of artwork.

A clever and talented nose! You made progress, and that’s what counts. Plus you did other things that needed doing. Win-win. =)

I am the same, spending my time in the garden. Hot days are ahead for us, so maybe I’ll be sewing in the afternoon.

I always tussle between sewing or gardening, and there’s so much to do in the garden at the moment!
