Feb.6 ….Hand quilt along update….

First I have some exciting news of a new little arrival to join our Bear family.

Alina Altagracia 7 lbs 8 oz arrived the third of February . She’s is the eleventh grand child, and the
Fifth granddaughter.❤️

A hearty welcome to Therea! Glad you joined us,my friend!🤗

Now for the update.

The black was what was done before… the new update is done in blue.

The inner circle with its lace loops are almost finished, then I will be working to finish all the grid work that leads up to the border work. A few more photos of quilting…

Seven more loops to finish
Some of the grid work being quilted.

That’s it for me this round.

  1. Congratulations Grandma. She looks healthy as can be. Oh how I love breathing in that amazing new baby smell. You’ve made some nice progress on your quilt. I’m sitting here stitching on mine. I’m glad I have joined in. I need the motivation to just start each day.

    1. A precious blessing! Don’t know about the perfect stitching,☺️ but the fabric and batting are very easy to quilt…. That really does help out with more even stitching.
